November 20, 2007. At Dale Hollow Lake on the Kentucky-Tennessee border, the temperature was in the 70's, the sun was radiant, and I was in a bass boat (not mine, btw) that cost more than my first house and would do 70.

I am quite jealous that you got to go fishing on Thanksgiving. Good catch!
Well, actually it was two days before Thanksgiving, but close enough. I was definitely giving thanks!
Aren't you getting married any day now?
I sure am! The wedding is this Saturday at 1:30! To say I am excited is an understatement! Everything is coming together perfectly. We got our apartment a few days ago, the wedding is all planned, and now we just have to pay for a couple things.
The next few weeks are going to be very exciting, but we have a lot to do! Pray for us and I will give you a call after the 18th!

Hershael,
That is definitely in the 5 pound plus range. You never told me what you caught it on.
Great time with you and T tonight. Thanks for the time.

Dr. York - the next time you are down my way to fish (I'm at Long Hollow Baptist in Hendersonville, TN) you need to call me. None of my friends around here can catch those kind of fish. Hope all is well with you and your family. - Travis Kaiser
Chuck:
This baby was caught using a brown crawdad jig. It was great to get some time with you and year sweet wife. Tanya and I really cherish the fellowship and friendship. Thanks again.
Travis:
Great to hear from you, man! You tell your friends that Southern Seminary professors could teach them about a lot of things!
I heard rumors of this and had to check it out for myself. That's a nice 2-pounder.

TWO POUNDS!!! Obviously the trauma of the UofL football season has seriously distorted your judgment.
Two words: Gardner. Webb.
Seriously, what a great fish. And on artificial bait, not live, no less. I was on Cumberland with Dave Wicker I believe the same day you were on Dale - caught a 21" but nothing like that big momma.
